Dear Mr Bacon,

Thank you for your letter of  November 29th, 2004. You make some important comments on the findings of your staff member on his visit to Nech Sar.

Please contact the Ethiopian Government directly on this matter as African Parks has no involvement in the relocation of these recent settlers. We made plans however to make life for the locals better with a substantial program of support in employment, transport and alternative fuel use.

We deem it essential that local people support the redevelopment of the National Parks. As this is an expensive community program we wondered if you have funds available which could support us.
