document defines where Mursi territory is, what the structure of the
Mursi decision making body is and what consultation process an
organization needs to go through to obtain legitimate permission to use
Mursi land. Unfortunately, the Mursi have often had projects forced
upon them with inadequate consultation. This document was written by
the Mursi with help from Center for International Environmental Law and
Native Solutions to Conservation Refugees.
